Horizonte Corporate Investments
Different business questions need distinct reading paths.
I rebuilt an earlier corporate-finance website as a nine-page portfolio demonstration. Its service map now uses independently written Portuguese copy, fictional imagery and connected local navigation.
Previous frontend work, reconstructed
Nine responsive pages, six service journeys, editorial about page, native accordions, accessible content rails and finite motion
Where this started
The earlier website focused on corporate-finance topics. It had its own introduction, about page and service catalogue, separate from the institutional and brokerage websites.
The routes needed to remain recognizably different without carrying historical sales language, named executives or unfinished text into a fictional portfolio experience.
My part
- Implemented
- I developed the earlier frontend and its interactions in collaboration with designers. The original visual direction was collaborative, and I do not claim sole authorship of it.
- Reconstructed
- I translated the earlier page structure into the shared Horizonte. identity, wrote new demonstration content and connected its local reading paths.
Decisions
Keep the purpose of each route
The homepage, about page, catalogue and six detail pages retain their distinct roles. Three detail pages use reading-step rails; the other three organize their topics into category lists. Each has its own introduction and questions.
Write a separate editorial narrative
I used the source to understand what each section was for, then wrote the Portuguese prose independently. Familiar service names and necessary technical terms remain; promotional claims, executive biographies and placeholder answers do not.
Make images and motion support the content
Generated people illustrate conversation without posing as actual employees or customers. Finite entrances guide the reading order, complete cards reveal together, and navigation remains visible.
Give every interaction a clear destination
The service catalogue, related studies, accordions and return links connect readable local content. Explanatory notes take the place of financial-document links, and the careers section makes clear that it accepts no applications.
Looking back
Preserving a website involves more than keeping its route list. I kept the different reading structures while making the content, imagery and limits belong to this demonstration.
Project note
This is a reconstruction of earlier frontend work that I implemented with designers. The identity and content are adapted for this portfolio; Horizonte. and the depicted people are fictional. The pages do not provide financial services or recommendations, identify an actual team, establish business results or imply sole authorship of the earlier visual design.
